Hire an Entertainment Agency and give yourself a Night Out

Sitting in by the fire every evening tucked up with my favourite book, and a cup of steaming hot chocolate on the coffee table in front of me, I am in heaven. It’s so easy to become a bit of a fuddy-duddy as you get on a bit in years, and sometimes I tire easily at the constant juggling of work and home. You’d think I was ancient the way I go on, but it’s not that long ago that I was out partying night after night, zero responsibilities to stand in the way of a good time. Enter a husband and a child or two and you suddenly find yourself using any spare time you have trying to catch up on your valuable ‘me’ time, when you can recharge the batteries, and regain some of that waning strength.

But spring is in the air, and the days are getting warmer and longer, so it’s time to pull yourself together and get out and enjoy the life that is out there waiting for you. Read more…

Review: GAME OF THRONES Season 2 Ready for War

When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die.

When you watch the Game of Thrones, you just plain win. Luckily, that truth from Season 1 carries over into Season 2, judging by the first episode of the year.

HBO’s fantasy hit returns on Sunday April 1, 2012, continuing the adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s series of novels called “A Song of ice and Fire.” This season is based mostly off of book two, “A Clash of Kings,” and the title is self evident from the very beginning.

The second season picks up directly after season one; this is honestly less “season 2 episode 1″ as much as it is “episode 11.” The cast expands, certainly, to introduce people like Stannis Baratheon and his clan, but the core cast all gets their moment in the spotlight in the first fifty minutes of the new season.

Norman’s annual Medieval Fair graced by good weather, doughnuts

NORMAN — The infamous giant turkey leg may have some competition this year at Norman’s annual Medieval Fair.

Amid the more common corn dog, gyros and funnel cake trucks, an Airstream trailer with hot pink wheels and purple and pink flowers painted on the sides stood out from the crowd Friday during opening day of the 36th annual fair at Norman’s Reaves Park.

Inside the trailer, Norman foodie Caryn Ross and her husband, Jack, nervously fussed with their gourmet doughnut machine as the line of people waiting to sample the hot mini melt-in-your mouth treats quickly grew.

Ross shares cooking tips and recipes regularly via her Fat and Sassy Mama blog and cooking segments on a local television station, but the new food truck was throwing her for a loop.

Kardashians Face Allegations That Their Clothing Line Is Manufactured By Slaves

Can this family ever find a way to stay out of the news for a few days?

It’s been a tumultuous fall for the Kardashians, with news of Kim’s divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries, Khloe’s move to Dallas following husband Lamar Odom’s trade to the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and now this: Star magazine has published allegations that the Kardashians employ slave laborers in China to manufacture their clothing line.Specifically, Star says that the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights discovered conditions in the Chinese factories where Kardashian-branded products are made to be “horrific.” Reportedly, numerous human rights violations have been made.
