Stream: Adele’s Album 21
When we saw Adele at The Box last week, she breezed through half of the songs from her new album 21 and during each it seemed like the sound was coming from somewhere else, that like Lil Wayne she might not be just a Human Being. Stateside we have few stars that wield the same degree of humor and heft. If it seems inconceivable that a woman so young might have so much power in her chest, it shouldn’t, and it’s satisfying that so many will now be reminded how quickly the heart becomes assertive and also aware of its changeability, alternately painful and saving.
