Spin Magazine Releases Nirvana Covers Album

Dear Nirvana fans—this year, it will have officially been 20 years since the release of Nirvana’s seminal disc, Nevermind (a.k.a., the one with “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on it, for you non-fans). I know, I know—reading such information immediately makes you want to run your fingers through your thinning hair and adjust your ever-thickening glasses. But! Spin has done something refreshing with the information.
The glossy mag has put together a tribute covers album dedicated to the record, with a ton of indie artists laying down 13 covers of the classic tracks from the classic ‘90s record. Also, the Meat Puppets and The Vaselines show up, which is unimpeachably awesome. Dig the tracklisting below, and download the covers disc on Spin’s Facebook page.
