77 Face Drug, Alcohol Charges At Raleigh Phish Concert
Seventy-seven people were arrested on Saturday during the Phish concert in Raleigh, North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement officers said.
Officers said 32 of the arrests were on felony charges including trafficking the psychedelic drug LSD. Other drugs, including Ecstasy, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana and nitrous oxide, were also seized, officers said.
ALE Special Agent Jeff Lasater said:
“After receiving complaints of dangerous illegal drug activity, ALE and the Raleigh Police Department worked together to make this event safer for visitors and residents of Raleigh“.
In addition to the drug charges, 89 misdemeanor drug and alcohol citations were also filed against concertgoers.
